Following the tremendous success of the Corrections Health Post-Conference Workshop at the Western Canada Addiction Forum (WCAF) in Kelowna, British Columbia, in May 2026, we are pleased to announce the inaugural Canadian Correctional Health Conference (CCHC).

Join colleagues from across Canada on April 2-3, 2027, at The Faculty Club, University of Toronto, for two days of expert-led education, collaboration, and networking focused on advancing correctional health care in Canada.

The CCHC offers a unique opportunity to deepen your understanding of addiction and co-occurring mental health disorders within both provincial and federal correctional settings. Through engaging presentations and practical discussions, participants will explore evidence-informed practices, emerging treatment approaches, innovative models of care, and strategies to improve health outcomes for people involved in the correctional system.

The conference will also bring together clinicians, researchers, administrators, policymakers, and other leaders in correctional health from across the country, creating valuable opportunities to exchange ideas, build partnerships, and shape the future of correctional health care in Canada.
